1. Welcome to CycleTrack

We're glad you're here! These terms and our privacy policy govern your use of CycleTrack. When you use our website or create an account, you are agreeing to these terms. You may not use CycleTrack if you do not agree to these terms.

2. Limits on Liability

We work hard to provide the best experience we can for our users. However, this website is provided "as is," and we do not make any guarantees that our website will always be safe, secure, or error-free or that it will function without disruptions or imperfections.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with CycleTrack, you must provide information that is accurate. Intentionally entering incorrect information constitutes a breach of these terms and may result in termination of your account.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access CycleTrack. You must notify the CycleTrack team immediatley if you become aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Links to Other Websites

CycleTrack contains several links to third-party websites. We do not have any control over nor do we assume responsibility for the content, policies, or practices of those websites.

5. Account Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediatley, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using CycleTrack or delete your account via the account settings page. Note that account deletion is permanent and any information attached to your account will be permanently deleted from our system.

6. Amendments

As we pursue our goal of increasing accessibility and transparency of the dental school application process, we may need to amend these terms and conditions. As such, we reserve the right to make modifications to these terms at any time. Your continued use of CycleTrack following the date of a posted amendment serves as agreement to these terms and conditions.

Copyright © 2026 CycleTrack and the respective contributors and rights holders. All rights reserved to the extent protected by applicable law. Original site text, graphics, logos and protectable selection or arrangement of content may be protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. User contributions and third-party materials remain subject to their respective owners' rights. These terms do not transfer ownership of your contributions to CycleTrack.

Except as permitted by applicable law, an express license or prior written permission from the relevant rights holder, you may not reproduce, distribute, republish, sell or create derivative works from protected content. Attribution alone does not grant permission. We do not claim copyright in facts themselves. Nothing in these terms limits fair use or other rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict, or overrides an express open-source or third-party license.

For permissions or copyright concerns, contact [email protected] with the relevant page, the work involved and your contact details. Do not include private applicant information.

8. No Unauthorized Scraping or Automated Extraction

Except where applicable law provides a right that cannot be restricted, you must obtain our prior written authorization before scraping, harvesting, crawling for data extraction, bulk downloading or using automated tools to collect site content or data, including CycleTrack and historical MDApplicants information. This restriction applies to scripts, bots, browser automation and other systematic extraction, including collection for datasets or model training. A research, educational, nonprofit or commercial purpose does not itself grant permission.

You must not bypass authentication, privacy settings, rate limits or technical access controls; use multiple accounts or distributed requests to evade restrictions; attempt to identify people from de-identified or aggregated data; or use collected information to contact participants without authorization. Public visibility and technical accessibility are not permission for automated extraction. Search-engine indexing expressly allowed by our published crawler instructions is permitted only for that indexing purpose and does not grant a separate license for bulk collection or reuse.

We may restrict or suspend access and pursue remedies available under applicable law for unauthorized use. These terms describe our permitted-use rules; they do not assert that every violation is necessarily a criminal offense.

9. Research and Data Permissions

We support and encourage responsible research. Submit a research inquiry before requesting data access or permission for collection or reuse beyond uses otherwise permitted by these terms or applicable law. Any approval is limited to the purpose, data, methods, people and duration specified in writing. An inquiry, institutional approval or public availability does not create an entitlement to data or override privacy restrictions. Approved projects may require a separate data use agreement and appropriate institutional ethics review.
